Assemblage Software is a one-man software company founded in 2009. The company is owned and operated by Nicolay Korslund, and is currently based in Oslo, Norway.
The goal of the company is to develop and invent new middleware ideas for the game development industry. Our designs are based on a few central philosophies:
- provide new and exciting software, avoid reinventing the wheel
- make APIs so simple they can be memorized
- be environment-agnostic – middleware should work with all platforms, engines, design paradigms and with other middleware
- modularity is king – small tools are easier to test, easier to understand and easier to deploy
- the user is more important than the designer
